This was truly a transformation. The existing door was a veneered hardwood version that has suffered over the years with the veneer peeling off. After removing the bubbles and rips to the surface and filling the surface with a two part epoxy we applied 2 good coats of Anthracite Grey. I think you will agree it looks a lot better. We also gave the two posts the same treatment.
